I am a Master's level Clinical Social Worker specializing in the assessment and treatment of depression and suicidality, anxiety, panic, trauma, abuse, and relationship issues.
I am currently certified as an Oregon State Clinical Social Work Associate (#A2752) and receive regular supervision from a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as I work toward full licensure. One benefit is that this allows me to provide services at a reduced rate to those provided by a fully licensed clinician. One drawback, however, is that I am unable to bill private insurance prior to attaining full licensure.
I utilize an eclectic blend of evidence-based theories of psychotherapy including elements of Cognitive Behavioral, Brief Solution Focused, Gestalt and Choice Theory, in order to help you identify the root issues and develop a plan of action which best addresses, reduces, and/or eliminates the presenting problem.
